BMBF/BMWi projects
IMVT has been contributing for many years to important joint research projects on national level involving both the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) and the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi). Through cooperations with industrial partners associated with these projects, IMVT contributes to the implementation of new technologies in the German industry.

Kopernikus Project: Power-to-X Research Cluster B2: Methane, Hydrocarbons and long-chained alcohols | How do we want to store the electricity from renewable sources: in liquids, in gas or in basic chemicals? All are possible, but which option looks likely to be most effective? |
|
Kopernikus Project: Power-to-X Research Cluster B1 Hydrogen Carriers | How do we want to achieve the turnaround in mobility? There is hardly a way around hydrogen as an energy carrier. This project deals with the issues surrounding the storage, transport and provision of hydrogen. |
