Temperature Regulation for a Microstructure Evaporator for Cooling Liquids

Dr. Brandner, Dr. Wibel

Abstract

The control has a manipulation element for manipulating a tempering fluid flow rate at which a microstructure evaporator i.e. counter-current heat exchanger, is operated. A temperature detection device is provided before an inlet and an outlet of the heat exchanger. The manipulation element is switchable or regulatable. The detection device has a temperature sensor for measurement or a bimetal element for monitoring of a temperature. The manipulation element has a flow valve for regulating flow resistance and/or stop valve i.e. solenoid valve.
