Stirling Engine

Mr. Prech, Dr. Schubert, Dr. Bier

Abstract

A heat engine for a closed cycle process with hot gas on the stirling principle with at least one hot and one cold chamber each in one cylinder, in or on each of which a piston, controlled according to the process, or a diaphragm functions, and with a regenerator. Directly between the faces of the hot and the cold cylinder a micro heat exchanger is arranged, which has a high aspect ratio, the aspect ratio being taken to mean the ratio of the duct lengths to the dimensions of the internal structures.
