Additive manufactured small channels for MeOH-Reaktor KIT_Kaya
Additive manufactured small channels for MeOH-Reaktor
Background and motivation

Generic programming is a technology with a huge potential in the design world. Thanks to this technology, any change in the geometry of complex devices can be made in a few seconds. Device development takes a lot of time due to simulations and tests to prepare the device for the real environment. The design should be corrected after each simulation and test. Therefore, the design should have enough flexibility for changes. Compared to traditional CAD software, Rhino Grasshopper gives user more flexibility with using of generic algorithms. It can reduce device development drastically. For this reason, it is aimed to use generic algorithms to automate additive manufactured reactor design at IMVT with contribution partners like Siemens Energy, Evonik and other institutes from KIT in the project 3D-Process. For increasing of design variables, we need a research assistant in 3D-Process. The research assistant will design bionic structures with using Rhino Grasshopper software.
